BRITA’s inaugural digital product: a smart-hydration companion app integrating their BLE-enabled bottle.

As of 18/05/2025 this app is unreleased (release scheduled mid-July), but already overdelivered on the MVP scope—BRITA’s fastest and most comprehensively delivered digital project to date.

Overview

The BRITA App guides users to better hydration through their smart water filter bottle. Key capabilities include:

• Real-time BLE connectivity to the bottle for water intake data

• Integration with Apple Health

• Personalized hydration goals based on user profile (age, weight, activity)

• Interactive analytics and graphs showing intake trends

• Manual drink logging (coffee, tea, soda, etc.)

• Bottle firmware updates and filter-life monitoring

• Seamless ordering of replacement filters and accessories

• Secure MSAL B2C single sign-on (SSO)
